Some clients come in knowing exactly who they are. This one did.

The ask was refreshingly clear: a bachelor pad in West LA that could actually hold a party — comfortable enough to sink into, stylish enough to impress, and colorful enough to have a personality. No sterile all-white. No safe neutrals. Something that felt like a place someone actually wanted to be.

With a budget under $45,000, the challenge wasn't taste — it was restraint. Every piece had to work hard: anchor a room, invite conversation, and bring that loose, confident energy the client was after. We leaned into approachable color, layered texture, and furniture that says come sit down without taking itself too seriously.

The result is a space built for living — for Sunday hangs and late-night hosting, for guests who show up and never want to leave. That's the goal every time, whether the budget is $45K or ten times that.
